A Word from Dr. Ron Martoia

*|FNAME|*,

On November 2 and 9, we will finish the current series, The Learning Organization. November 16, 29 (Thanksgiving week off) we will be doing a two-part series on "Hiring the Right Staff/Enlisting the Right Volunteers: From Mediocre to Amazing.” Volunteerism is way, way down post pandemic—which means we often take anyone with a pulse to do our volunteer jobs. That is always a mistake. What can we do to get the right volunteers in place (think nominations for committees too)? And the same questions apply to staff. Are you hiring homerun teammates or less-than-amazing? These are critical components for a learning organization—an organization that has the expanding capacity to create the results it wants! Join us for these two timely topics.

December 7 will be our annual 52-minute Special FLS for December (our only meeting) — "The Ocean is Blue with Possibilities: Thinking and Experimenting your Way Forward to the New Future!” You will not want to miss this. We will have video clips, creative resources and a set up for a new year in 2022, that will be worth your 52 minutes! (We will resume our FLS calls January 11, 2022).
